Breast enhancement is the most often asked-for treatment, according to Harley Medical Group. It is a 20-year trend that appears to be growing.
Patients spent nearly £100 million last year on breast augmentation, and the medical group has seen its practice grow 39 percent with women seeking breast implants.
People are growing more receptive to cosmetic surgery, a fact borne out by the figures, according to Director Liz Dale.
Ms. Dale says patients are not reluctant to talk about their surgical procedures, and many will recommend a surgeon to their friends.
Ms. Dale warns patients to check out their clinic’s and surgeon’s credentials before submitting to surgery, and to have a thorough medical consultation.
