The number of patients electing to have breast enlargement surgery is rising quickly, says one service provider in the UK.
Demand continues to grow for the procedure, which has been the most popular cosmetic surgery procedure for the past two decades, according to the Harley Medical Group.
Women seeking to increase their bust size are growing in number, with a 39 percent increase in demand for the procedure last year, at a cost of £100 million.
Britons’ attitudes toward cosmetic surgery are changing, according to the group’s director Liz Dale.
Ms. Dale says more patients are telling friends and family about their surgery and they will frequently recommend a surgeon.
She urges patients to do good research before selecting a clinic to review the clinic’s credentials. Once the decision is made, the patient should also be given a complete consultation.
