Facial Surgery

Unquestionably the face is the most important feature of the whole body. It’s uniqueness gives that individuality through which we are recognised by others, and its expressions reveal very much about what we are thinking or feeling. It is the reflection that appears to us in the mirror every day, and it is important that we are satisfied with what we see reflected back.

The desire, therefore, to appear good-looking to others, but above all, to ourselves, is a most natural one. And it is scarcely surprising that more and more people are taking up the option of physical self-improvement.

Modern plastic and cosmetic surgery can now do much to improve many of the impairments, real or perceived, in the face, some of them genetic or caused through accidents, others as a natural part of the ageing process, through illness or perhaps by over exposure to the sun.

The rapid advancement in cosmetic surgery techniques now makes it possible to modify virtually every feature of the face. As well as nose reshaping, ear reshaping and cheek and chin implants, cosmetic surgery can now perform the most delicate of operations with eyelid surgery and brow lifts becoming more and more requested.

It is also now possible to re-modify the whole appearance of the face with complete face and neck lifts. The results of facial surgery can be quite astonishing, impacting strongly on the personality and changing the entire outlook of the patient through new found confidence and increased self-esteem.
